HYDERABAD: The 21st convocation ceremony of the International Institute of Information Technology, Hyderabad (IIIT-H) on Saturday saw 556 students graduating, the largest batch in the institute’s history. Further, a record number of 22 PhDs and 133 Masters with thesis were also awarded.
According to the institute, over 28% of graduates – 155 out of 556 – earned their degrees based on a high-quality thesis. In fact, the 2022 batch is the first batch to graduate based on the new academic curriculum that was revised and implemented in 2018. They received IIIT-H’s dual-degrees, Master of Science and PhD degrees.
