Romelu Lukaku has insisted his focus remains with Inter Milan amid uncertainty over his future with Chelsea. The striker is expected to return to Stamford Bridge in the summer upon the expiration of his loan spell in Italy.
Lukaku re-joined Inter last summer after enduring a difficult return to Chelsea. The 29 year-old scored 15 goals in 44 games for the Blues last season after Roman Abramovich spent a then-club record £97.5million to bring him back to west London.
After failing out with Thomas Tuchel and seeing his place lost to Kai Havertz, Lukaku temporarily switched back to Inter for the entire of the current season, where he has scored only seven goals in 25 games. His future remains unclear heading into the summer.

Inter CEO Guiseppi Marotta recently spoke plainly on the striker's future at the San Siro, claiming he would return to Chelsea regardless of his form. "The loan was for one season so on June 30 regardless of how well he plays, he’ll go back to Chelsea," he said. "This has been an unprecedented season. I’m referring, of course to the World Cup.
"Lukaku is a case in point. [Marcelo] Brozovic isn’t the Brozovic we know. Lukaku hasn’t found the fitness he needs to play his best football. He’s still not at his best or the player we got to see in years gone by.”
Now, with Inter fighting for a spot in Serie A's Champions League places, Lukaku has provided a fresh stance on his future. After scoring two second-half goals in the 3-0 away win over Empoli on Sunday, he said: "Future? I have to be careful [on what he says]. Pay attention... I want to focus on Inter and give my best for this club game after game.
"I'm always doing my best for Inter and I like the fans, the relationship is great."
