Inter Miami CF has made a significant addition to their roster ahead of the 2024 Leagues Cup by signing River Plate defender Héctor David Martínez. Martínez, who has previously made five appearances for the Argentinian club, will now be part of Inter Miami's official lineup for the upcoming competition.
The center-back began his professional career at River Plate, progressing through the youth system before making his first-team debut under Marcelo Gallardo in December 2018. He also had a stint at Defensa y Justicia, where he scored two goals in over a year before returning to River Plate on loan and eventually on a permanent basis.
