Over the coming weeks, Instagram is set to release a new feature in a bid to help track down missing children.
The social media app will put an 'amber alert' on users' feeds if a child is missing in their local area with key information mentioned.
This will, according to the Daily Record, include a photo of the missing person, a description of them as well as where they have gone missing, which can be shared amongst other users to help spread the word faster.
