A community in Meath has been rocked by the tragic death of a much-loved young boy who appeared on DIY SOS.
Tributes have been paid to Josh Parsons, 6, who died in the loving arms of his parents on Monday at Crumlin Children's Hospital ICU.
Josh had appeared on the home makeover show on RTE earlier this year with his parents Jen and Glen, and older brother, Ryan.

He was diagnosed with Smith-Magenis syndrome which is a complex developmental disorder that affects multiple organ systems of the body.
A spokesperson for DIY SOS paid tribute to the young boy, saying: "Baz Ashmawy, the entire DIYSOSirl team & community of volunteers, and everyone at @motivetele are devastated to hear of the loss of young Josh Parsons, son to Jen and Glen, who were the centre of our Longwood episode earlier this year. May he rest in peace.
"Josh was a fighter and an inspiring young boy, and his family did him proud in every step of his tragically short life.
"Our hearts go out to Jen, Glen and Ryan, their entire network of family, friends, and neighbours in Longwood, Co Meath. ‘May Josh rest in peace."
A celebration of Josh's life took place and he was laid to rest on Thursday.
A notice on RIP.ie reads: "Josh Parsons, Brackinrainey Manor, Longwood, Co. Meath. 2nd May 2022. Peacefully slipped away in the loving arms of his heartbroken parents at Crumlin Children's Hospital I.C.U.
"Sadly missed by his mum Jenny, Dad Glen, brother Ryan, grandparents Dave & Audrey, Pat & Noeline, aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, neighbours and friends."
