Inside Victoria Beckham's gruelling fitness routine that makes her 'feel physically sick'

Victoria Beckham is well known for her trim figure and dedicated approach to her health and fitness regime. The former Spice Girl, 48, faced scrutiny earlier this year after hubby David Beckham revealed she has eaten the same meal for almost 25 years.

The mother-of-four has opened up about her strict fitness regime which includes two morning workouts in her latest interview with Vogue Australia. Her intense routine takes place in the basement of her lavish Holland Park, London home where she regularly works out at 6:45 am every day.

It's reported that she squeezes in her 30 minute treadmill workout before doing the school run for her youngest child Harper, 10, afterwards wastes no time and gets straight into a gruelling weights session with her personal trainer.

While the average person heads straight to work in the morning, Victoria enjoys a pampering session with a glam squad which is a must after she admits to Vogue her morning workouts make her "feel physically sick." As for her diet, Victoria admits she is "extreme in anything I do", especially when it comes to her much-talked-about eating habits.

The star revealed her favourite dinner is an incredibly basic whole grain toast with salt on top. During an interview with Ruth Rogers on the River Cafe’s Table 4 podcast, she admitted she is every restaurant’s “worst nightmare” because she’ll often ask for bread sprinkled with seasoning.

The mogul hit back at her husband David's revelation that he has been "married to someone that has eaten the same thing for the last 25 years'"- adding that she rarely deviates from a dinner of grilled fish and steamed vegetables.

"Talk about making me sound boring!," she remarked. "No. What he meant is that he's never met anyone who's more disciplined with the way that they eat. I eat lots of healthy fat: fish, avocado, nuts, that sort of thing. I do drink alcohol unless I have a reason not to. I'll detox from anything for three to six months where I won't drink.

"I'm quite extreme in anything I do, whether it's eating or working out or drinking or not drinking," she said.

Speaking to Grazia, Victoria admitted that striving for skinniness is a thing of the past. "It’s an old-fashioned attitude, wanting to be really thin," she said. "I think women today want to look healthy, and curvy. They want to have some boobs – and a bum."

The family spend a lot of time in Miami now as David Beckham co-owns the Inter Miami football team. Victoria said of this: "There are a lot of really curvy women in Miami, and they really own it, you know? They walk along Miami beach with not a lot of clothes on, and they look fantastic.

"They show their bodies off with such confidence. I found both their attitude and their style really liberating. And as a mother, I loved that Harper was around women who were really celebrating their curves and enjoying how they look."
