The woman who took Prince Harry's virginity in a field behind a busy pub when he was a teenager has finally come forward to give a blow-by-blow account of the steamy encounter.
Sasha Walpole spoke out after the Duke of Sussex sparked worldwide speculation about her identity when he published his memoir Spare.
Ms Walpole, who was described by Harry as an "older woman" who "liked macho horses" and treated him "like a young stallion", is just two years older than the prince and says they were good friends when they were younger.
She said she was never planning to share her side of the story as she kept it a secret for over 20 years, but decided to speak out and reveal her identity after Harry told the world about their sexual encounter in his book without giving her a heads-up.
In his memoir, Harry described his loss of virginity as "a humiliating episode with an older woman who liked macho horses and who treated me like a young stallion."
He wrote: "I mounted her quickly, after which she spanked my ass and sent me away. One of my many mistakes was letting it happen in a field, just behind a very busy pub. No doubt someone had seen us."
Since Spare was published last month, there have been various theories about the identity of the "older woman", until this weekend, when Ms Walpole told The Sun on Sunday and The Mail on Sunday that Harry was referring to her.
The 40-year-old woman, who is now married and a mum-of-two, shared new details of the night - including the pub's name, the alcohol they drank together, a birthday card Harry gave her along with secret codename, as well as the length of their sexual encounter.
On the day of their liaison, Harry visited Thorpe Park in Surrey with some friends before joining Ms Walpole and other pals to celebrate her 19th birthday at the Vine Tree Inn in Norton, Wiltshire.
The woman told the prince she was "gutted and upset" as she had recently split from her first boyfriend - who later that night, turned up at the pub with his new girlfriend.
She said that Harry brought her shots to try to lift her mood - and they had about five each, including tequila, Baileys and sambuca.
At around 11pm, Harry and Ms Walpole went out for a cigarette together and, avoiding the prince's security as he didn't want them to see him smoking, they walked through a beer garden before climbing over a fence into a field where they had sex.
The couple were shielded from the view of other customers in the bar by a hedge as they tore at each other in the grass.
Ms Walpole said they were away from the pub for about 15 minutes - but the sex just lasted five minutes and, by that time, Harry's security had started looking for him.
She explained: "We finished our cigarettes - Marlboro Lights - and it just happened. He started to kiss me. He was wearing boxers. There was no chatting, no words.
"It was exciting that it was happening. It was exciting that it was happening like the way it was. We were away for 15 minutes but the sex was about five minutes."
Ms Walpole said it wasn't pre-meditated and at the time she wasn't sure whether Harry was a virgin - although the following day she was thinking about it as she knew he had never had a proper girlfriend before.
She added that their sexual encounter felt "a little bit naughty" as they were friends and knew it shouldn't have happened - but the situation "got a little bit out of control".
Ms Walpole confirmed Harry's account that she slapped his "lovely peachy" bum, as she said: "Afterwards I did grab his bum and gave him a slap. It was with one hand. He had a lovely peachy bum - but he was young."
The woman said she was wearing black trousers from New Look with a fitted black top and black leather boots, as well as a multi-coloured belt - which she didn't have when she went back to the pub.
The following day, her friend Bryony drove her back to the pub and she climbed over the fence, where she found her belt.
Throughout their sexual tryst Harry had managed to stay mostly clothed in his pink shirt, jeans and boxer shorts.
Ms Walpole also said Harry gave her a birthday card, that he signed with the nickname "Baz" - used almost as a codename - as well as a Miss Piggy funfair toy he had won earlier that day.
After the encounter the couple separated with the aim of returning to the bar independently so as not to arouse suspicion. But Harry's security detail had already gone looking for him - according to Ms Walpole, he was found hiding in a red telephone box.
Even though they were good friends, Ms Walpole said she and Harry never texted or rang each other after their sexual encounter, not because she felt embarrassed but because they were not going out much at the time.
