Sir Keir Starmer pledged £1.6bn for military aid in Ukraine on the back of a disastrous meeting between Volodymyr Zelensky and Donald Trump.

The prime minister is set to address the Commons on Monday, to speak of a “coalition of willing” for peace – and has said the world is at a “crossroads in history”.
