It also has a multitude of quirks, starting with the wrought iron spiral staircase that takes centre stage in the entrance hallway. The kitchen is uniquely shaped with lots of windows and a panelled raked ceiling.

Tynron Cottage is on the market for £600,000 and is being marketed by Brennan Ayre O'Neill.
In their listing, the estate agent said the house is "ready for a second injection of love and care" to "realise the opportunities that lie within".
Properties on West Road sold for an average of £450,000 over the last year.
