Photos taken by an urban explorer have given a glimpse inside an abandoned mansion that is said to have once been owned by late country music legend Kenny Rogers.
The six-bedroom property located in Atlanta, Georgia, is believed to include 15,000 square feet of living space and a derelict fountain is among its outdoor features.
The mansion - built in 1990 - is said to have once been owned by Kenny, who reportedly lived at the property until 2006 when he sold it for $8.5 million (around £6.9 million).
It's said to have later been rented out for events and other business opportunities, though more recently the property has reportedly been left vacant now for a couple of years.
The mansion has been visited by urban explorer Bretton Barry, 19, who shared photos of the derelict estate with Media Drum World which provide a glimpse instead.
The photos show the grand exterior of the property, as well as several of the rooms within the building - including the entrance hallway which features a lavish chandelier.
Among the rooms showcased is one of the bedrooms, which still includes a four poster bed. One of the home's seven bathrooms is also showcased by the urban explorer.
Kenny - who won several Grammy Awards and was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame prior to his death in 2020 - is said to be among its former owners.
After he resided at the property, it passed into the hands of new owners and it's said to have later been rented out for weddings and music videos for a period from around 2018.
It's understood to have featured in the music video for the track Ric Flair Drip, released in 2018 by rappers 21 Savage and Offset with record producer Metro Boomin.
It's been claimed that more recently, allegedly following a series of noise complaints and a party, "the town [was] fed up" with it being used for business. The operation is said to have been closed down and the estate has been vacant since.
However, it's said to have since attracted attention among the urban exploration - known as 'Urbex' - community, with Bretton having visited the property with his camera.
Discussing the property, he told the outlet: "This place was heating up in the Urbex community, I saw it posted on lots of friends' accounts and I couldn't miss it."
He added: "It was simple to enter as many of the doors were left unlocked. It was very big and beautiful, lots of very interesting architecture and things I've never seen before in homes like a bedroom in this massive room with high ceilings.
Bretton said that he noticed a large swimming pool outside and a bar located nearby, with him adding that there was a large fountain that was "filled with moss and overgrown".
Bretton described the interiors as "beautiful," adding: One room astonished me as it resembled an Egyptian tomb. Another room had a southeast Asian style".
He further commented about the mansion: "The most interesting space was definitely that master bedroom with the huge walls and four-poster bed. It looks fit for a king."
"I love urban exploration for the fulfillment of the curiosity of wondering what was inside that building when you're looking at it from outside," he explained to the outlet.
Bretton said he'd been "very happy" to explore the property, which he called an "amazing spot". He added: "People often wonder how something this big could become abandoned."
