Rightmove has revealed the five homes that were viewed the most times in January.
Whether we are planning to find a new home or not, we are all guilty of sneaking a peek at listings on a property site - usually out of curiosity when looking at 'dream houses'.
For example, one incredible property featured on Rightmove is less nestled away in the leafy countryside, and it's less than an hour away from the city life of Manchester.
Set in a highly private position within 16 acres of land, the home has panoramic views over the Cheshire plain and beyond.
The fifth most viewed home this month, the magnificent mansion is on the market for £6.5m, the Manchester Evening News reports.
Located just outside of Alderley Edge village, it is built with a unique curved exterior with every detail of the home intricately designed by an architect.
The location is ideal for anyone who wants the feeling of being in the countryside whilst just walking distance from local amenities in Alderley Edge.
The five-bedroom property spans 9,500 square foot and comes with many luxury amenities that most of us could only ever dream of having in our home.
The ground floor of the home has been carefully design with space and flexibility in mind.
Welcomed through a reception hall, the first rooms you see on entry are the games room and library.
Further down the hallway is the stunning open plan kitchen, living and dining room which have full floor-to-ceiling sliding doors leading out onto the garden.
This seamlessly blends the indoors and outdoor living spaces together.
On this floor is the most impressive part of the home - the luxury leisure suite.
Boasting an indoor swimming pool, steam room, sauna, fully-equipped gym, jacuzzi, changing room and a pool terrace with its own bar area, this house is just like a five-star hotel.
With an abundance of space, the ground floor also hosts a high-tec cinema room, laundry room, boot room, cloak room and utility room.
Up the spiral staircase, the first floor hosts five bedroom suites, each with their own luxury en-suites and dressing rooms.
The impressive master bedroom has two separate 'his and hers' dressing rooms and two private bathrooms.
Two of the bedrooms, and the master bedroom, all have direct access out to a balcony terrace taking advantage of the unrivalled countryside views.
The balcony is ideal for entertaining and dining, and can also be accessed from the first floor kitchenette.
The home is accessed via a tree-lined driveway and there is also a separate driveway that leads to a stables and triple garage for multiple cars.
To the front of the property are vast gardens with a pound and an orchard with a variety of specimen fruit trees.
The side and rear gardens offer entertaining terraces and a kitchen garden, with the surrounding land of fenced making it ideal for equestrian use.
