Stacey Solomon and Joe Swash tied the knot over the weekend and sweet details of their big day have started to be revealed.
We're all eager to see snaps of the happy couple on their big day, but insiders have tipped off what Stacey's dress was like and say the bride wore an off-white Disney-style princess dress. They also revealed that the newlywed’s first dance was Whitney Houston track My Love Is Your Love, which left the Loose Women star with “tears in her eyes”.
Stacey decided to come off social media ahead of her wedding and hasn't posted since but prior to her nuptials, she did share a video of the fairy lit garden at Pickle Cottage where the ceremony took place, writes The Mirror.
The Loose Women panelist showed off a wooden gazebo with thatched roof which was transformed for her wedding guests to sit under. Rows of wooden tables and white IKEA chairs were laid out in three long lines, while the tables were decorated with rustic white and green flower garlands.
Strings of fairy lights which had been hung on the exposed beams throughout the gazebo twinkled in between huge flower chandeliers. Stacey captioned the post, which she shared with her 5.3 million Instagram followers: “The calm before our forever.”
Sharing further details of the couple’s special day, a source told MailOnline : “Stacey and Joe’s dance together as husband and wife was to Whitney Houston’s My Love Is Your Love.
“It was a picture-perfect moment. Stacey had tears in her eyes. It was so romantic.” Revealing what she wore, the source continued: “It was an off-white Cinderella style wedding gown, which her children loved seeing her in. The dress made her feel and look like a true princess.”
Stacey and Joe tied the knot over the weekend in the grounds of their £1.2 million Essex mansion, known as Pickle Cottage. They had an intimate Jewish blessing ceremony to reflect Stacey’s faith.
Although it was their dream day, the service itself is not legally binding so they will have to marry at a registry office at a later date. The music was reportedly provided by a DJ playing garage classics and none other than TOWIE favourite James Argent and his The Arg Band.
Shortly before she tied the knot, Stacey took to Instagram to thank people for their well wishes. She wrote: “Just wanted to take a moment to say thank you for your beautiful messages and the kindest well wishes.
“One of the pieces of advice all of you told me was to soak it in and enjoy every second because it’s over in a flash. “I’m going to say goodbye to my phone for a few days and make sure I enjoy every moment.” She signed off with her new name - “Solomon Swash”.
