Stacey Solomon was overwhelmed with emotion as she celebrated her son’s fourth birthday with an epic Spider-Man themed party.
The Loose Women panelist took to social media to share details from the big day, as son Rex - who she shares with husband Joe Swash - partied with his little pals at a soft play centre over the weekend.
Stacey gave her 5.6 million followers a sneak peek into the extravagant bash, which featured a huge inflatable replica of the web-slinging superhero, as well as an incredible three-tiered cake.
Posing alongside hubby Joe and their son Rex, Stacey sweetly wrote: “It's party time, let's go do four Rexy bum.”
The 33-year-old, who also shares daughters Rose, 1, and three-month-old Belle, with ex-EastEnders star Joe, then posted videos and snaps from the party on her Instagram Stories.
“Mum and dad, aka the biggest kids,” she captioned a video of her and Joe balancing on a beam above a huge pit filled with foam cubes, which ended with the I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here star taking a tumble.
Stacey then posted a slow-motion clip of birthday boy Rex, capturing him flying down a red slide and catapulting into a foam pit.
“Hope you had the best day Rex, mummy and daddy love you so much. Four years has gone far too quick. To the moon and back Rexy,” she wrote.
The former X Factor star then shared details of Rex’s incredible cake, which featured a Spider-Man layer alongside a terrifying fondant recreation of the superhero’s nemesis Venom.
The sweet treat was accompanied by red and blue balloons, and a life-size Spider-Man balloon hovering over the top.
Stacey explained that while Rex’s birthday wasn’t until the 32 May, they threw a party so the youngster could celebrate with his school friends over the weekend.
“It all went so fast today. Going to have a little birthday roast dinner at home on Tuesday to celebrate his actual birth date but today was so special,” she wrote atop a snap of the cake and balloon set-up.
“Some of his friends will all go to different schools in September, so it was so nice to see them having fun together today,” Stacey added.
