Stacey Solomon regularly updates fans on social media as she renovates her dream house, affectionately nicknamed Pickle Cottage.
Stacey announced back in 2021 she had found her "forever home", the impressive mansion which boasts its own library, pool and conservatory.
After rising to fameon the X Factor in 2009, Stacey has become a national treasure and is best known for her bubbly personality and as the Instagram DIY queen.
The 32-year-old TV star has been keeping her social media followers in the loop as she has transformed Pickle Cottage into her dream family home.
As well as her dream home, Stacey has the dream family life too with former EastEnders actor fiance Joe Swash, and her four children.
The couple also resides with Stacey's sons from previous relationships, Zachary, 13, and Leighton, 9, as well as Rex, 2, and six month old baby Rose - who she shares with Joe.
The family all live together inside their £1.2m Essex pad which has become the envy of all of her 5m Instagram followers.
Stacey has gained an even bigger following her thrifty nature of transforming her home into a budget-friendly beautiful residence.
Let's take a look inside her renovated mansion Pickle Cottage..
Nursery
The only baby girl in the house, it's no surprise that Stacey has gone all out for baby Rose.
After welcoming her baby daughter last year, Stacey shared that Rose was the "best birthday present I could have asked for" when updating fans.
Her room is filled with pink painted walls, pink flowers and pink stuffed animals as well as adding contrast, the room has a white rug, white dressing table and a white crib.
However, the star of the show for baby Rose's room is the pink flower wall Stacey handcrafted herself.
It's a statement piece Rose is sure to love as she grows up.
As well as the big show-stoppers in the nursery, Stacey has also added in heartfelt details for her daughter.
Stacey crafted a rose lamp, mirroring the rose in a glass cabinet from Disney's Beauty and the Beast.
As Stacey shared the sweet little extras in her daughters room, she wrote: "Just a little something from me to you. May it always remind you of mummy and how excited we all are to meet you."
Kitchen
Stacey is currently renovating her kitchen at the moment, it's the latest room in Pickle Cottage to get a bit of TLC.
She has even opted for a more environmentally friendly kitchen now it's time to update it.
The Loose Women star has got rid of the beloved Aga oven that came with the house, due to its environmental impact.
Stacey said: "Audrey the Aga. I love her so much.
"We fell in love with her when we moved in but it was gas & used a huge amount from a tank in the garden, so we sent her back to Aga for them to repurpose & switched it for an electric one to save energy," Stacey explained.
"I called her Audrey and I’m going to jazz the wall up behind her with something special so she stands out even more."
Stacey also proudly showed off the latest work to be completed in the kitchen, which is a new tiled floor.
While the tile choice isn’t what she originally had in mind, the 32-year-old said she "wanted to be realistic" about what would be easy to maintain and keep clean with four children and two dogs in the house.
"It took me ages to find these but I think they’re perfect and I love the warm sandy, stone colour," Stacey told her five million followers. We can’t wait to see the finished result!
Rex's room
Stacey’s youngest, Rex, showed fans on Instagram just how happy he was with his new bedroom.
His beaming smile and cute giggles were showcased to Stacey's followers as she filmed him walking around his newly done up bedroom.
The mum-of-three created a playful room with a grey-and-white theme and additional animal additions.
Stacey does the majority of the DIY herself, with the help of trustee Joe too, and often hits up shops such as Amazon, Dunelm and IKEA for her bargain buys.
She showed the whole process from start to finish, including where she used frog tape to section off the wall for the sectioned areas of her contract feature wall.
The white walls are decorated with Panda bears, a quote that reads: "The best thing to hold onto in life is each other," picture illustrations and a wall-side that has drawings of trees, pandas and birds.
Stacey loves to share all her transformations on Instagram, and one that divided fan opinions was her decision to paint over her traditional fireplace in Rex's room.
She painted over the oak wood, white tiling and a gorgeous floral pattern with a matte black and grey paint.
Blue loo
None of this has been easy for Stacey, although she does make it look like she is such a natural at DIY.
When they bought the Essex pad, they knew they had their work cut out for them but were ready for the challenge.
A perfect example of this was the blue bathroom, which was dusty and dated but Stacey had the eye to transform this into a lovely loo.
When she moved in Stacey said she loved the original detailing on the toilet and the sink so decided to keep those and base the room around it.
By adding corner shelving, which she'd picked up from Amazon for £35.99 for two, and Primark pampas grass, it complimented the pale blue walls perfectly.
Stacey even donned a blue outfit to show off the finished product which was she beyond happy with.
Conservatory
Stacey transformed her conservatory ceiling with a salvaged slab of wood and some £11.99 garlands from Amazon.
On Instagram, she told fans: “So my friend found me this amazing slice of wood...
“So instead of hanging the flowers from the metal pole, I'm going to sort of stick them across this wood and then hang the whole thing up!”
She later decided to add some lights to the feature as well.
She continued: “Taking so much longer than I thought because I staple gunned the flowers on and then thought it really needs some dangly lights...
“So I've found some cable, lamp holders and bulbs and called my dad over. For supervision.”
To finish it off she spray-painted the old white lamp holders black and created a stunning new installation that emphasises the height of the room.
Dino toilet
One of Stacey's most recent room transformations was turning their bathroom into Jurassic Park for Rex.
Stacey impressed fans with her attention to detail as she absolutely nailed the theme of the room for her son.
The dino themed loo has lots of T-Rex toys, and even some dinosaur footprints stuck to the floor as well.
The theme continues as the soap sits on huge dinosaur claws which comes out from the wall, as well as a T-Rex tooth brush holder too.
After the bathroom was complete, Stacey shared photos of delighted Rex bursting with joy as he took in all the details for his brand new bathroom.
She even joked that after all the work that went into the bathroom, he needs to stay obsessed with dinosaurs for the next ten years.
Wendy house
Pickle Cottage isn't just beautiful inside, it boasts wonderful grounds as well and nestles in 2.5 acres of gardens.
The house also came with a wendy house which is basically just a mini version of the family home.
When they moved in it was a little run down and shabby but this didn't last long as Stacey jumped in and sorted it out.
After painting it a different colour, the star said: “I decided to try a different lighter colour because I thought if it looks wrong, it's easy to change it back to black.”
The grey lick of paint gave the Tudor-style cabin a fresh feel and brought it into the current decade.
She also added a ‘Little Pickle Cottage’ doormat and made a DIY flower basket to put at the front.
The home also comes with a beautiful grand garden, which has been used for many family events, including Stacey's baby shower and Halloween party.
