Olivia Attwood has revealed the massive beauty makeover she's had in order to look good for the whole three weeks in the jungle.
Make up and other beauty products are banned in the jungle unless they come in as a luxury item.
So the 2017 Love Island star went to work with some more permanent solutions.
Olivia, 31, said: "So, I did eyebrows, tint and lamination, my lip blush tattooed so it looks like I’ve got a bit of lippy on it’s gone a bit too red in the sun but that’s fine, better than nothing, and I did Botox and a facial and that’s it.
"Oh and I cut three inches off my hair, it’s not short, just to make it a bit more manageable. I cut down my nails to short and square, which is not my normal go to, it feels strange but just so I can actually use my hands instead of breaking a nail.
"I’m hoping this is going to be one of those experiences that make you realise that all those things don’t really matter – but somehow, I don’t think that’s going to be the case. It’s weirdly exciting to strip back and go back to basics."
As well as a lack of make up, Olivia will also be without her partner in the camp, footballer Bradley Dack.
She said: "I’m missing him a lot. He told me not to be crude and said no burping or farting and I was like but I’m going to be eating really horrible food and he said to just try and be ladylike. He said not to walk around in my thong the whole time. I was like okay; I’ll try but I can’t promise anything."
Speaking when in isolation just before the show began filming, she also admitted the setup reminded her of Love Island.
She said: It is strange because it does bring up quite a few memories. The process and flying out here, doing a lockdown period, all that stuff does give me a bit of déjà vu and the big show setup but obviously it is a very different concept. It feels really empowering that I’m going on this journey alone. Love Island is relationship based so it’s nice to know it’s me and if I f*** it up it’s my own fault."
She insists she is a changed woman from her time on Love Island.
She said: "Hindsight and growing up is a great thing. The person I was when I went into Love Island… she was very angry, I was a pretty lost person before I entered Love Island, I didn’t know what I was doing with my life, I didn’t like boys, I was scorned by all the horrible ex-boyfriends I had so I took a lot of baggage in there with me, I was hot headed.
"I was doing a lot of screaming and shouting but now I’m in a happier place. I don’t feel the need to drop bombs for the sake of it. In my normal life I don’t argue with people ever."
