Last month, TV star Martine McCutcheon renewed her vows with husband Jack McManus in an idyllic setting, with just one very special guest- their eight-year-old son Rafferty.
The couple marked ten years of marriage by reconfirming their love for each other during an intimate ceremony at a luxury countryside hotel in Surrey.
Martine, 46, is in the headlines today after she gave a candid interview, revealing she doesn't have the "perfect relationship" with her songwriter husband, 38, who she has been with for 15 years.
The former EastEnders actress said that despite their "ups and downs", she finds him her "safe space" and described Jack as her best friend.
Martine also spoke about the vow ceremony, telling The Sun that "Rafferty loved it and again got to see mum and dad in a loving way rather than going nuts on the school run."
On September 15 the couple renewed their vows at the Beaverbrook Hotel, which is surrounded by picturesque Surrey hills.
The day came ten years after they tied the knot by Lake Como in Italy.
Speaking to OK! Martine said of the day: “It was probably the most relaxed but wonderful thing we’ve ever done,
“It was in the most beautiful setting and it was the right combination of casual and elegance."
The star said she wanted the day to be a celebration of the couple's love and endurance.
She added that the intimacy of the affair was important, as the ceremony was just for them.
Their son Rafferty helped picked the music playlist and wore a tuxedo which matched Jack's. Martine had planned to get Rafferty some shoes for the occasion, but he wanted to wear his red Converse.
Martine looked beautiful in a floor-length lacy dress by Bronx and Banco, and silver strappy heels by Aquazzura.
The songs She by Elvis Costello and Moon River from the movie Breakfast at Tiffany's played during the ceremony, and the evening included white roses- Martine's favourite flower.
The couple penned their own vows, with Martine describing hers as a love letter to Jack.
“It was along the lines of… We’ve been together for 15 years, we’ve worked together, played together, we’re parents together, we’re husband and wife and he has been there for me when things haven’t been shiny, glossy, beautiful and perfect – far from it," she explained.
After the ceremony, the overjoyed family headed to the Garden House on the grounds and enjoyed a glass of pink fizz, followed by a candlelit dinner.
Earlier this week, following the sudden death of her younger brother LJ, aged just 31, Martine shared a moving poem about living and loving life.
A heartbroken Martine took to her Instagram Stories to share Alysha Waghorn's poem that reminded people to 'tell people you love them'.
"Darling, just go ahead and love your life," the poem started. "Take pictures of everything. Capture the moments big and small that make you feel alive."
