Kim Kardashian hasn't had the best luck when it comes to her relationships.
As a self-proclaimed romantic, 42-year-old Kim has gone from one relationship to another in the pursuit of true love.
It seemed like she'd finally found that in the form of rapper Kanye but after seven years of marriage and four children the pair split up.
And now it has emerged that Kim is "open to dating again", eight months after breaking up with Pete Davidson.
As a source close to Kim reportedly said she is ready to get back into the dating scene, we take a look at her past relationships and where they went wrong.
Damon Thomas (married from 2000-2004)
Kim Kardashian and Damon Thomas were married from 2000 to 2004.
Thomas is a music producer and Kardashian was relatively unknown at the time of their marriage.
The details of their marriage are largely private but their divorce was finalised in February 2004.
Kim was just 18 years old when she met Damon, who was 10 years her senior. The pair eloped in 2001—a year after meeting each other.
During an episode of The Kardashians, she said she was high on ecstasy the night she got married to Damon Thomas.
She said: “I did ecstasy once and I got married. I did it again, I made a sex tape. Like, everything bad would happen.”
Replying to her comments, Damon said: "I don’t remember that at all… I think it’s unfair to make those kinds of blanket statements because we have kids now, you know?
“I have children. My kid goes to the same school her kid goes to. So imagine him when he has to deal with that at school.”
Ray J (dated from 2003-2007)
Kim Kardashian's hugely successful career in the spotlight was launched shortly after her sex tape with singer Ray J was leaked in 2007.
The 41-year-old began starring alongside her family in the reality show Keeping Up With The Kardashians shortly after the tape was released.
Vivid Entertainment, who released the tape, claimed in a press release at the time that they purchased the tape from a "third party" for $1 million.
Much has been said about who leaked the tape over the years – with Canadian journalist Ian Halperin claiming a source told him in his 2016 book: "It was Kris who engineered the deal behind the scenes and was responsible for the tape seeing the light of day."
The Kardashians family have denied these allegations.
Nick Lachey (rumoured fling in 2006)
In 2006, Lachey starred in a music video for his song "What's Left of Me," which featured a woman who resembled Kardashian.
This sparked rumours that the two were romantically involved, but both parties denied any such relationship.
In a 2013 interview with Watch What Happens Live, Lachey confirmed that he briefly dated Kardashian in the early 2000s, before she became famous.
However, he clarified that their relationship was not serious and that they only went on a few dates.
Nick Cannon (dated briefly in 2006/7)
The comedian and actor dated the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star between 2006 and 2007.
Nick and Kim's relationship happened after she dated Ray J but before the tape was leaked.
Nick confessed he was 'heartbroken' over the Ray J sex tape in 2007 when it was leaked online.
Appearing on the Drinks Champ podcast, Nick explained: "I remember I was really into her… We were on some serious s***!
Reggie Bush (dated from 2007-2010)
Kim had been dating the NFL player for two-and-a-half years and said their romance crumbled because they couldn't maintain a long-distance relationship.
The pair split for the first time in 2009, with Kim saying at the time: "It's hard when he's playing [in New Orleans] during the season and I'm filming my show [in Los Angeles]."
However, they briefly rekindled their romance before calling it quits in 2010.
Although, he was there for Kim and "comforted" her following her divorce from Kris Humphries.
Miles Austin (dated briefly in 2010)
Kim Kardashian dated Miles Austin, a former NFL player, for a brief period in 2010. The couple reportedly met through a mutual friend and began dating in June of that year.
Their relationship was relatively low-key, and they were only spotted together a few times in public.
In August 2010, Kardashian confirmed on her reality TV show, "Keeping Up with the Kardashians," that she was dating Austin.
The relationship did not last long, and the couple reportedly broke up in September 2010, after just a few months of dating. According to sources, the couple's busy schedules and long-distance relationship were factors in their split.
Kris Humphries (married for 72 days in 2011)
Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries got married on August 20, 2011, in a lavish ceremony that was broadcast on television as part of the reality TV show, "Keeping Up with the Kardashians."
The couple had been dating for several months prior to their engagement and were married for just 72 days before Kardashian filed for divorce on October 31, 2011.
Their split was highly publicized, and rumours circulated about the reasons for their divorce.
Kardashian cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for the breakup, and there were reports of disagreements over their busy schedules, living arrangements, and family dynamics.
Kanye West (married from 2014-2021)
Kim immediately caught the eye of Kanye, then, in early 2004, a young producer and songwriter with one hit album to his name.
She had been married to Damon Thomas from 2000 to 2004 but was now in a steady relationship with Brandy’s brother, the rapper Ray J, with whom she made the notorious sex tape.
In 2007, Kanye told Kim he would marry her one day.
And his prediction came true seven years later when the pair - who share four children together - tied the knot in 2014 in a lavish ceremony attended by only the top A-listers in the world.
The couple had been married for almost 7 years when Kim made the decision to file for divorce.
At the time of filing, the reason for their separation was reportedly due to irreconcilable differences, but no specific details were given despite some very public swipes at each other in the media.
Pete Davidson
A couple that left everybody shocked.
The pair first met in January 2019 when she went out for dinner with her then-husband Kanye, Timothée Chalamet, Kid Cudi and Pete
Just two years later, their paths crossed again when Kim hosted Saturday Night Live, which saw her kiss Pete onscreen during their Aladdin skit.
"It was a stage kiss, but it was, like, still like a little zing, you know?" she said months later.
However, a month later, it appeared they were Instagram official when Kris Jenner shared a snap of them wearing matching pyjamas.
Pete first called Kim his girlfriend in February of 2022, weeks before she shared their first joint snap on her Instagram.
In April of that year, Pete joined Kim at their public debut on the red carpet for the premiere of The Kardashians, as he planted a kiss on her cheek.
The pair walked side by side on the red carpet at the 2022 Met Gala as Kim slipped into Marilyn Monroe's iconic 'Happy Birthday, Mr President' dress.
However, they called it quits in August of 2022 due to "long distance" and "demanding schedules".
