The home where a convicted paedophile built an eight-foot fence to prevent neighbours from becoming suspicious of his activities is now for sale.
We can also reveal the disgusting conditions vile Declan Power (58) lived in at the farmhouse cottage which he purchased almost six years ago. The sick predator, who lived in the Co Louth village of Dromiskin just an hour from Dublin, left locals disgusted after they discovered his criminal activities when he was sentenced to two years and four months in the UK for child grooming offences in August.
Locals told this paper they do not want the “creepy f**king b**stard” returning to their village when he is released. The sicko had used a fake Facebook profile page to initiate contact with a 13-year-old girl sending her sexual and vile messages.

Unbeknownst to him, the girl was actually a decoy from a paedophile hunting group which trapped him. The creep had flown to the UK on July 14 with the intention of abducting and having sex with the girl.
He was caught carrying condoms and had return tickets for himself and the girl to Ireland two days later.
At Exeter Crown Court, he admitted attempted sexual communications with a child and attempting to meet a child after grooming and was sentenced to two years and four months in prison.
Locals will be relieved the two bedroom cottage is now for sale with a price tag of €145,000 – and the unsightly eight foot fence is now gone.
In August, we revealed images of the fence he built around the property to prevent locals becoming suspicious of his activities if he had managed to abduct the “girl”.
Now we can reveal the vile conditions Power lived in.
Images of inside, prior to it being cleared out, show items and rubbish strewn around the kitchen, on the work-top counters and the sink full of dishes.
A heap of clothing, as well as a bicycle, rubbish bags and boxes of magazines CDs and adult porn DVDs were strewn around the sitting room.
