Inside Gemma Owen's £4m home and why she never planned to move in with Luca Bish

Love Island star Gemma Owen recently revealed she broke up with Luca Bish after three months together.

The international dressage rider confessed it 'wasn't an easy decision' to part ways with the fishmonger after meeting him on the ITV2 show.

However, there have been rumours of a strained relationship for weeks as fans noticed they didn't appear on each other's Instagram pages.

Gemma said they're both 'starting new chapters', with the star focusing on her brand deals and her family life in the £4million 42-acre property in Wales.

She introduced herself as living in Chester but the lavish home, called Lower Soughton Hall, is actually located in Mold, Wales.

Luca has visited the home a few times, but he's actually based in Brighton.

Gemma's home, which was bought in 2001 by her father Michael Owen, has everything the star needs so it's no wonder she didn't want to move out and find a place with Luca.

She lives at the home with Michael, her mum Louise, and her three younger siblings.

As an avid horse lover, it came as no surprise when she told her co-star Liam that she has 12 horses.

The gorgeous home includes a huge living room, high ceilings, and light brown wooden wall panels. Big windows are a must to look out into the gargantuan garden.

The Owens' family mansion even has an indoor swimming pool along with a hot tub, and the family have access to their own private home gym.

The 42 acres around the property also include stables for the Love Island star's 12 horses, plus an additional two cottages, two flats, and three greenhouses, NorthWalesLive reported.

Back in October, Gemma was asked whether she planned on moving out.

She explained to MailOnline : "We don't have any plans to move into together just yet, I'm a home girl, it's where everything is, I'm family orientated and I'm still young.

"In the immediate future I'm happy with where I am, and the setup Luca and I have.”

The star added: "We are everywhere right now, when I'm down in London working, we spend time with each other and when we have a free weekend, he'll join me in Cheshire and be with the horses. We're making it work around our busy schedules."

Even Luca understood that there was a slim-to-none chance of Gemma moving out.

He previously said: "There is no middle ground - it’s Chester or nothing!"
