Edinburgh Airport is set to invite passengers into its swish new premium lounge from next month, with images giving an exclusive first look inside.
Set to open in the second week of August, the Plaza Premium lounge will be giving the Wetherspoons a run for their money as they launch a gin bar, dining hall and viewing point of the runway.
Located near Gate 13, the lounge will be accessible only by those who have booked to visit before their flight, and will offer a range of amenities from wifi to a children’s play area.

With a huge array of food and drink, the restaurant will be cooking up classic British dishes as well as international cuisine.
Organisers have also confirmed that complimentary selections of house beer and wine will be available, as well as tea, coffee and soft drinks.
Catering for those who are vegan and gluten free, alternative menus will also be offered to those who require them.
However, the selling point of the lounge appears to be the exclusive Edinburgh Gin Bar that has been created inside, with images showing the swish new watering hole and it’s selection of cocktails.
For those perhaps working rather than heading off for a holiday, the site has also been given a computer station and free wifi.
