A Fatal Accident Inquiry has confirmed that a chef jailed for stabbing his wife to death in a horrific attack, died in a Lanarkshire hospice.

Peter Cumming stabbed grandmother Lynda Brown, 63, four times in the back as he prepared for a dinner party in 2012.

The 66-year-old was jailed for a minimum of 14 years after pleading guilty to the murder at their home in Shawlands.
