While stacking up a five-game losing streak, the Golden State Warriors have been without Steph Curry due to an injury, and Draymond Green while he’s serving a five-game suspension.
On Thursday against the Oklahoma City Thunder, the Warriors suffered another injury to a key player. After leaving in the second quarter of the Warriors’ loss to the Thunder, Gary Payton II was ruled out with a left foot injury.
He will miss Saturday’s rematch against the Thunder, and the Warriors provided an update for Payton. After his MRI didn’t show any structural damage, the Warriors will reevaluate Payton again over the weekend.

In 12 games, Payton is averaging six points on 45.3% shooting from the field to go along with three boards and an assists in 17.3 minutes per game. With Payton out, the Warriors will have to lean on rookie Brandin Podziemski and Moses Moody in the backcout.
