For the first leg of a road back-to-back in Texas, the Golden State Warriors will be without one of their key veterans.
Before meeting the Houston Rockets on Monday, the Warriors will be without Otto Porter Jr. due to left foot injury management. Porter Jr. has missed seven games on the season, with most of his absences coming near a back-to-back.

Otto Porter is out tonight for the Warriors in Houston. Resting on the front side of a back-to-back. Steve Kerr has said he prefers to split Porter and Klay Thompson’s rest, indicating Thompson will sit in San Antonio tomorrow.

In 43 games, Porter Jr. is averaging 8.7 points on 48% shooting from the field with 5.3 rebounds and 1.6 assists in 21.9 minutes per game. With Draymond Green missing time due to injury, Porter Jr. has started the last five games for the Warriors.
The Warriors will be thin in the frontcourt against the Rockets. Along with Porter Jr. and Green, Andre Iguodala is ruled out for the contest and Nemanja Bjelica is questionable due to back spasms.
In Houston, the Warriors will likely have to lean on Juan Toscano-Anderson and rookie Jonathan Kuminga in the frontcourt next to Kevon Looney.
The Warriors will meet the Rockets at 5 p.m. PT on Monday in the lone star state.
