After helping the Golden State Warriors surge to an advantage over the Eastern Conference-best Boston Celtics before halftime, rookie Brandin Podziemksi exited the game with an apparent injury.
With a minute left in the first half, Podziemski fell to the ground after attempting to box out Celtics 7-foot center Neemias Queta. Podziemski appeared to be shaken up on the ground before leaving the game to the locker room.
Podziemks would later be ruled out of the remainder of the game due to a lower back strain.

Before being ruled out, the rookie tallied five points on 2-of-4 shooting from the field to go along with five rebounds, an assist and a steal against the Celtics. Podziemski has notched double-figure scoring numbers in six of his last eight games for the Warriors.
With Podziemski out, the Warriors will need to lean on Moses Moody and Corey Joseph in the backcourt behind Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, and Chris Paul against the Celtics.
