With opening night around the corner, Draymond Green appears to be recovering from his ankle injury at the right time. On Sunday, the Golden State Warriors provided an official update for Green’s ankle injury.
According to the Warriors, Green has been cleared to begin practicing with the team in 5-on-5 action. His return to the court will be based on his progress at practice. Green missed every preseason game and most of training camp due to an injury he suffered in an offseason workout.

Green is coming off a season where he averaged 8.5 points on 52.7% shooting from the field with 7.2 rebounds and 6.5 assists in 31.5 minutes per contest.
Kevin Durant, Devin Booker, Bradley Beal and the Phoenix Suns are set to come into San Francisco’s Chase Center on Tuesday for the opening night of the NBA season.
Tipoff between the Suns and Warriors is set for 7 p.m. PT on Tuesday.
