NEW DELHI: India's head coach, Rahul Dravid, expressed concerns about the impact of injuries on the team's preparations for the upcoming ODI World Cup. He highlighted the setbacks faced by players like Shreyas Iyer and Axar Patel, emphasising that such injuries make the task of managing the squad more challenging.
In the case of Iyer, his availability for the Asia Cup was limited to just the first two games due to a back spasm. This setback occurred following a six-month period of recovery from a previous injury.
