Star Texans wide receiver Nico Collins told reporters Friday that he expects to play against the Jaguars in Week 4.
Collins was added to Houston’s injury report on Thursday with a hurt hamstring, which made him a limited participant in practice. He returned to action Friday, although the Texans had not disclosed his participation level by press time.

“Absolutely, I’m feeling great,” Collins said about playing Sunday via Aaron Wilson of KPRC-2 Houston.
“No better feeling. You know, division game in front of the home crowd. Home-field advantage, division game, no better feeling. It’ll be most exciting, ready to go out there and spend it with the boys.”
Collins leads Houston with 338 receiving yards through three games this season. He has caught 18 passes, 16 of which went for first downs and one for a touchdown.
During his breakout season in 2023, Collins caught nine passes for 138 yards and a touchdown over two games against Houston’s AFC South rival Jacksonville. Collins finished the year with 80 receptions for 1,297 yards and eight scores.
Collins joined fellow starting Texans receiver Tank Dell on the injury report this week. Dell has not practiced this week due to a chest injury and is reportedly not expected to play against the Jaguars.
