A reporter at the Rafik Hariri hospital in Beirut witnessed the arrival of numerous injured individuals seeking treatment following Israeli airstrikes aimed at the militant group Hezbollah. One particular family arrived in a sedan, transporting a young man with a bandaged leg. The family had been traveling from the coastal city of Tyre to Beirut since Monday afternoon.
Hospitals in Beirut have been actively receiving and treating those wounded in the strikes, with Rafic Hariri hospital director Jihad Saadeh noting that ambulances faced significant delays due to heavy traffic. One ambulance, carrying an intubated patient, encountered prolonged travel times on the road.
