New Delhi: India's inflation risks are significantly higher than the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) currently acknowledges, with price pressures likely to push inflation to 6-7 per cent in the coming quarters, potentially requiring further interest rate hikes, according to a report by Systematix Institutional Equities.
The report highlighted that the central bank's inflation projections underestimate the growing risks from rising input costs, elevated household inflation expectations and broadening price pressures across the economy.
