Following Friday’s practice, the final of the week, the Indianapolis Colts have released their final injury report ahead of Sunday’s pivotal AFC South matchup with the Houston Texans.
At one point, 13 players were listed on the injury report for the Colts this week, but only four will have injury designations.
Here is what you need to know:
– DeForest Buckner will be questionable for this game. He returned to practice on Wednesday as a limited participant and was a full participant on Thursday before having a rest day on Friday. After practice, Shane Steichen said that Buckner was “tracking very well” when it came to Sunday.
– One player who does not have an injury designation is Jonathan Taylor, meaning he will be available on Sunday. For more on the impact of that, click here.
– Cameron McGrone, who was also designated to return from injured reserve is questionable as well. He was a full participant in practice all week. Since both Buckner and McGrone are both still technically on IR, when either player is activated and available, the Colts will have to make a corresponding roster cut for each player to make room on the 53-man roster.
– Genard Avery and Jaylon Carlies have been ruled out for this game. On Monday, Steichen said that Carlies would “miss some time” after exiting the Colts’ Week 7 matchup. Avery did not practice at all this week either with a foot injury. For more on these two players, click here.
