Indianapolis Colts vs. Dolphins final injury report: 2 out, 6 questionable

The final practice of the week for the Indianapolis Colts has taken place ahead of their Week 7 matchup with the  Miami Dolphins, and with that, the team has released its final injury report.

Eight players, including several key starters, will enter Sunday’s game with an injury designation. The Colts have already ruled two players out while six are questionable.

Let’s take a look at what you need to know heading into this week’s game:

– Anthony Richardson does not have a designation, which means he will play on Sunday.

– Jonathan Taylor has been ruled out. This will be the third game he’s missed with a high ankle sprain. While all injuries are different, of note, Josh Downs with a high ankle injury missed roughly six weeks, and DeForest Buckner is about to miss his fifth game.

– Chris Lammons is also ruled out after not practicing this week. With Kenny Moore back, Lammons didn’t play any defensive snaps last week, but this is another hit to the Colts’ already thing cornerback depth.

– Michael Pittman is among those questionable. From the sounds of it, Pittman is on track to play as long as there aren’t any setbacks. For more, click here.

– EJ Speed is questionable but was a full participant on Friday, which is often a good sign.

– Braden Smith is questionable. This week, just like the several others prior to it, Smith did not practice on Wednesday or Friday but was a full participant Thursday. In each previous instance he was also questionable but went on the play in that week’s game.

– Alec Pierce was not on in the initial injury report, but missed Thursday’s practice with a shoulder injury. However, he was back on Friday and a full participant and is listed as questionable.

– Josh Downs is questionable. He was a limited participant on Thursday and Friday after missing Wednesday’s practice. This is the same toe injury that held him out of practice last week, but Downs was ultimately able to play against Tennessee.

– Of the players listed as questionable, Dayo Odeyinbo’s status is perhaps the most up in the air. For one, hamstring injuries are tricky and he missed two practices this week and was a limited participant in the other.
