Last December, police were called to a residence around 4:30 a.m. ET and found an individual in bed unresponsive and cold during what authorities called a 'suspected overdose.' The individual, identified as the owner of the Indianapolis Colts, denied the authorities' report, stating that it was not an overdose but rather related to treating a leg injury that had developed a serious hematoma.
Upon arrival, the individual was struggling to breathe and was administered Narcan, to which they responded slightly. In January, it was announced that the individual was being treated for a severe respiratory illness, and in February, they shared an update on their recovery progress, mentioning they were 'on the mend.'
In March, after undergoing a procedure on their right leg to improve mobility, the individual expressed optimism about their recovery, despite having undergone 26 surgeries over the last seven years. The individual also disclosed having been to rehab 'at least 15 times' and shared a near-death experience that led to a significant realization.
The individual, who has overseen the Colts' day-to-day operations since 1995, has a notable history in the sports world. They celebrated a Super Bowl victory with the Colts in 2007, alongside legendary quarterback Peyton Manning and the team.
