Indiana Fever officials announced a change in the preseason home debut schedule for Caitlin Clark, moving the game against the Atlanta Dream from May 10 to Thursday. This adjustment was necessary due to a scheduling conflict arising from the NBA playoffs.
Following the Indiana Pacers and New York Knicks' victories in Game 6, both teams advanced to the Eastern Conference semifinals. Consequently, the NBA announced that the Pacers and Knicks would face off in Game 3 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse on May 10 at 7 p.m., coinciding with the Fever-Dream game.
As both Indiana teams share Gainbridge Fieldhouse as their home venue, the rescheduled game will now take place on Thursday. Fans holding tickets for the original May 10 date can use them for the new game, which will also be available for viewing on the WNBA app.
Caitlin Clark, set to make her professional debut, will play her first game on Friday night in Dallas. The Fever will officially kick off their regular season on May 14 in Connecticut, followed by their first home game against New York on May 16.
