KOLKATA: Mithali Raj feels the title of her forthcoming biopic ‘Shabaash Mithu’ is very close to her heart. “That’s what my teammates used to tell me when I got runs for the country. Hence it reminds me of my good old days and all my colleagues,” she said during a promotional function in the city on Saturday.
In spite of retiring from the game recently, Mithali keeps a close watch on the game and is happy to see how the Indian women routed Sri Lanka in both the T20I and ODI series. The performance naturally raised hopes of an Indian medal in the forthcoming Commonwealth Games where women’s cricket will make its debut.
