Indian woman loses iPhone in Japan, what happens next leaves her amazed

An Indian woman living in Japan recovered her iPhone 16 Pro after accidentally leaving it behind for several hours, using Apple’s Find My feature to track the device late at night. Pragati, who shared her experience on Instagram, said she had lost and recovered her phone several times in Japan, calling this the fifth such incident.

Pragati said she often leaves her phone behind without immediately noticing because she does not constantly check it. On this occasion, she realised the device was missing several hours later and used another phone to check its location.

Phone tracked to a location 600 metres away

According to Pragati, the location showed that her iPhone was around 600 metres away when she began searching for it. It was already around midnight, prompting her to head towards the location displayed by the Find My app.

“People say that being addicted to your phone is a very bad thing, but for me, not being addicted to my phone is a very bad thing,” she said, explaining that she sometimes remembers her phone only two or three hours after leaving it somewhere.
