Indian student fights for life in Chicago after 25-ft fall at subway station, family seeks help

Spandana Lagishetti, an Indian student studying at Elmhurst University, Illinois, suffered a massive accident after she reportedly fell 25 feet down at a subway station. The accident took place on May 30, according to the fundraiser set up on behalf of her family seeking help. "Spandana suffered a devastating fall from a significant height and sustained multiple life-threatening injuries. She was rushed to Advocate Lutheran General Hospital, where she remains in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) receiving critical care," the fundraiser said.
