‘Team bonding’ and ‘intensity’ were the buzz words for everyone as the Indian chess Olympiad teams’ first camp concluded in Chennai on Tuesday. The players couldn’t have asked for better mentors to train with than the five-time former World champion Viswanathan Anand and the legendary Boris Gelfand.
During the course of the 10-day camp, players were part of sessions analyzing games, studying different positions and would begin the day either with meditation or yoga.
