A 58-year-old Indian man died aboard a Malaysia Airlines flight from Kuala Lumpur to Sydney after suffering a medical episode during the journey on Wednesday, September 16, US magazine PEOPLE reported.

New South Wales Police confirmed that a 58-year-old passenger on the flight had suffered a medical episode and later died.
The man became unwell while on the flight, prompting the crew and fellow passengers to provide first aid. Despite their efforts, he could not be revived and later died.
A separate report by Daily Mail Australia said the man was an Indian national and reportedly suffered an asthma attack during the flight.
Police respond after flight lands in Sydney
Officers from the South Sydney Police Area Command were called to the international terminal at Sydney Airport at around 5:50pm on Wednesday after receiving a report that a passenger on a flight from Kuala Lumpur had become unwell, NSW Police said.
The flight was Malaysia Airlines' MH141, which travelled from Kuala Lumpur to Sydney. Flight records show the aircraft landed in Sydney at around 7:43pm local time.
Man's identity not released
The man has not been publicly identified. NSW Police said his death is not being treated as suspicious and that no further police action is anticipated.
