Indian father accused of attempting to murder his 2-year-old child in North Carolina; caused life-threatening injuries to baby's skull

A 41-year-old Indian-origin man, Kiran Netha Pasunuri, has been charged with attempting to murder his toddler, who was admitted to the hospital with grievous injuries, in North Carolina. The incident took place on June 2 and the father was arrested on June 25. Two days after the arrest, the father was charged with two counts of felony intentional child abuse, inflicting serious injury, and two counts of felony negligent child abuse, inflicting serious bodily injury.
