NAGPUR: Safety-first was the approach of Indian youngsters on a day dominated by the experienced American grandmasters in the Candidates Chess tournament in Toronto on Monday.
Though the 10th round went in favour of the top-two seeds Fabiano Caruana and Hikaru Nakamura, tournament co-leaders Gukesh D and Ian Nepomniachtchi (6 points) played out a peaceful draw to maintain their lead going into the third rest day.
