After an even and gripping session, discussions were underway on how Steve Smith is beginning to look good, and could well get a big one at The Gabba.
Not too far away from live action, a batch of Indian players were sweating it out in the nets under the eyes of assistant coaches Abhishek Nayar and Ryan ten Doeschate. Harshit Rana and Prasid Krishna had the ball and the likes of Devdutt Padikkal and Sarfaraz Khan were swapping nets for brief hits.
