India’s GDP Grows 7.8% in Q3 FY26 Under New Calculation Method

Figures published by the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation showed that the country’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) expanded by 7.8% in the October–December 2025 quarter. The growth rate marks a significant rise from 6.2% recorded in the same period a year earlier, though it was slightly lower than the 8.2% registered in the preceding quarter.
