NAGPUR: India's fast-rising paddler Jennifer Varghese achieved her career best 14th rank in the world on Wednesday. Two months after she took the table tennis rankings by storm following her dream international debut, the 13-year-old became world no. 14 in the women's U-15 singles section. She continues to be India no. 1 in the category.
As per the latest ranking for the 24th week announced by the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) on Wednesday, Jennifer's title winning effort in the U-15 group and a quarterfinal finish in the U-17 section of the World TT Youth Contender in Czech Republic gave her a total of 240 points.
