NEW DELHI: India on Monday reported 8,103 fresh Covid cases and 119 deaths. With this rise the death toll in the country has reached 513843.
Of the total Covid cases, 1.02 lakh are active cases, which is 0.24 per cent of the total. With 16,765 recoveries in the last 24 hours, the recovery rate has increased to 98.56 per cent.
The daily positivity rate has fallen to 1.11 per cent, while the weekly positivity rate is down to 1.17 per cent.
India has so far conducted 76.74 crore Covid tests and administered 177.50 crore vaccine doses.
