NEW DELHI: India on Sunday reported 2,34,281 new Covid-19 cases and 893 deaths. With this rise, the total active cases in the country has reached 18,84,937. The active cases account for 4.59 per cent of total cases.
India reported 3,52,784 recoveries in the last 24 hours, taking the total recoveries to 3,87,13,494. The recovery rate in India is currently 94.21 per cent.
The daily Covid positivity rate in India is 14.50 per cent, while the weekly positivity rate is 16.40 per cent.
The country has so far conducted 72.73 crore Covid-19 tests, of which 16,15,993 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours. Total of 165.70 crore vaccine doses have been administered so far under the nationwide vaccination drive.
