NEW DELHI: India on Monday reported 2,09,918 new Coronavirus cases. The number of deaths reported during this period reached 959. The total deaths in the country has reached 4,95,050.
India's active caseload has reached 18,31,268, which is 4.43 per cent of total cases.
India reported 2,62,628 recoveries in the last 24 hours, taking the total recoveries to 3,89,76,122. The recovery rate is currently at 94.37 per cent. With this rise in cases the daily positivity rate has reached 15.77 per cent, while the weekly positivity rate is 15.75 per cent.
The country has conducted 72.89 crore Covid tests so far, with 13.31 lakh tests being conducted in the last 24 hours. The nation also administered a total 166.03 crore Covid vaccines, under the nationwide vaccination drive.
