NEW DELHI: India on Saturday reported 15,185 new Covid cases and 68 deaths. Kerala has revised its death toll, hence the death figures have shown an increase. The death toll currently stands at 5,26,996.
India's active caseload has decreased to 1.19 lakh. This comes to 0.27 per cent of total cases.
With 20,018 recoveries in the last 24 hours, the country's recovery rate stands at 98.54 per cent. So far 4,35,93,112 people have recovered from the disease.
The daily positivity rate stands at 4.36 per cent, while the weekly positivity rate is 4.79 per cent. A total of 87.99 crore Covid tests have been conducted, of which 3.62 lakh tests were conducted in the last 24 hours.
India administered 207.71 crore vaccine doses, under the nationwide vaccination drive. Of the total doses administered, 93.74 crore are second doses and 11.84 crore are precaution doses.
