NEW DELHI: India on Wednesday reported 15,102 new Coronavirus cases and 278 deaths. With this, the total deaths in the country has reached 512622.
Active Covid cases have fallen to 1.64 lakh. This brings the total active cases to 0.38 per cent of total cases. With 31,377 recoveries in the last 24 hours, the country's recovery rate rose to 98.42 per cent. So far 4,21,89,887 patients have recovered from Covid-19 in India.
The daily positivity rate stands at 1.28 per cent, while the weekly positivity rate is at 1.80 per cent.
So far, 76.24 crore Covid tests have been conducted, of which 11.83 lakh tests were conducted in the last 24 hours. Total 176.19 crore vaccine doses have been administered under the nationwide vaccination drive so far.
