India Post GDS 2026 Registration Starts: Check direct link to apply online, circle-wise full list of 23,757 vacancies, last date and things to remember before clicking submit button

India Post GDS the Department of Posts West Bengal Central Government Department

India Post has opened the One-Time Registration (OTR) process for the Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS) Recruitment 2026, offering 23,757 posts across postal circles. The registration window has opened today, August 31, while the actual application submission process will start on September 2.

The recruitment is being conducted under GDS Online Engagement Schedule-II, July 2026. Candidates should note one important distinction: registration has started, but the application form and fee payment are not open yet. The Department of Posts has scheduled those from September 2.
