An entire week dedicated to celebrating intendent venues is coming to several Liverpool bars and clubs this week.
Independent Venue Week (IVW) is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year and is holding 300 events across the country to celebrate venues owned by the people that run and work in them. The organisation teams up with a number of venues, including Liverpool's Invisible Wind Factory and EBGBS, to put on several gigs promoting new and upcoming artists.
They are encouraging fans to share their experiences by posting photos and videos online using the #IVW23 and #10YearsofIVW hashtags. Acts performing include Liverpool-based pop musician Eleanor Nelly and the Beatles-inspired Jonny Ash band.
